Maine Autism Collective
Who Are We?
We are a community of self-advocates, friends, family members & service providers connected with common goals & values centered around the local Autistic community.
What Do We Do?
Our members empower the Autistic people in their lives to become strong self-advocates.
We use our collective knowledge & perspectives to support community members.
Self-advocate members share personal thoughts & experiences to assist non-Autistic parents or caregivers in understanding the individuals they care for.
Together, we create an atmosphere encouraging all members to share & learn about autism from the source—Autistic people!
Maine Autistic Advocacy Collective meetings are held once monthly on Friday’s from 6:00-7:30pm in Westbrook. Meeting dates can be found on our calendar.
